PETRA International Office Website
PCU Global is the official website of the Petra Christian University International Office. It is a single-page application that brings inbound and outbound academic programs, campus facilities, partnerships, news, and contact information together in one place. The site serves prospective international students, partner institutions, and the campus community in both English and Bahasa Indonesia. A built-in admin dashboard lets the International Office update content without touching code.
The problem
Scattered information: Program details, requirements, and contacts were spread across documents and channels, making it hard for prospective students and partners to find what they need. Language barrier: Materials were mostly in one language, limiting reach to international audiences and local stakeholders alike. Hard-to-update content: News and program information required developer involvement to change, slowing down announcements. No central point for partnership inquiries: Institutions had no simple, trackable way to request meetings with the office. Data reliability: The previous backend lost data on server restarts, making stored requests and content unreliable.
Purpose
To provide a single, reliable, bilingual hub where prospective students and partner institutions can discover PCU's international programs, explore life on campus, read the latest news, and initiate partnership meetings — while giving the International Office an easy way to keep all of that content current.
